GTK Team Returns to Desert Exploration with Aeromagnetic Equipment

Recently, the technical team of GTK(Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. carried its latest self-developed aeromagnetic equipment deep into the Taklamakan Desert, carrying out an exceptionally challenging UAV-borne aeromagnetic survey. Facing the extreme environment of scorching heat, arid conditions, and relentless sandstorms, the team operated the latest self-developed aeromagnetic system to complete high-precision magnetic data acquisition with remarkable efficiency and quality, providing critical data support for probing the deep geological structures beneath the desert.


The Taklamakan Desert — where frequent sandstorms rage across the surface and traditional ground geophysical methods struggle to deploy rapidly. The GTK aeromagnetic system, with its outstanding stability and anti-interference capability, maintained efficient operations under these harsh desert conditions, achieving complete magnetic survey data acquisition across complex dune terrain and significantly boosting work efficiency.


During this survey, drones equipped with aeromagnetic equipment navigated between the dunes, precisely capturing aeromagnetic data. The system's high sensitivity and low-noise characteristics enabled effective identification of magnetic geological anomalies beneath the sand cover, providing strong support for subsequent resource potential assessment and analysis.


In a region as remote and inhospitable as the Taklamakan, the operational advantages of the aeromagnetic system were fully validated — ensuring the safety of exploration personnel while significantly improving work efficiency and data coverage density. This further confirmed the reliability and practical value of the GTK aeromagnetic system in extreme desert environments.
