GTK × DJI Ecosystem | Chinese-made Rubidium OPM Payload Listed in DJI's Industry Ecosystem Solutions Catalogue

scanning: author: time:2026-10-29

GTK(Shenzhen) Technology Co,Ltd.'s independently developed "Aeromagnetic — Rubidium Optically Pumped Magnetometer" has been officially listed in the DJI Industry Ecosystem Solutions Catalogue (DJI Developer ecosystem) and released through DJI's official channels, making GTK a DJI ecosystem partner. Inclusion in the catalogue is DJI's recognition of the payload's technical maturity and platform integration, and offers users a new option for high-precision airborne geophysical surveys in mineral exploration.

Since its founding, GTK has built its UAV aeromagnetic and airborne radiometric systems closely around DJI multirotor platforms. From the early DJI M600 Pro, DJI M300 RTK, DJI M350 RTK and DJI FC30 to the latest industrial platform DJI M400, GTK has consistently followed DJI's product upgrade cycle, continuously innovating and turning UAV aeromagnetic and radiometric systems from research products into powerful production tools, serving the practical needs of mineral exploration, emergency response and other industry users and solving the problems they encounter in their work.

Through the development platforms DJI provides to third-party developers — Payload SDK, Mobile SDK, Cloud API and intelligent computing — GTK has integrated its airborne geophysical instrument hardware and professional software with the aircraft platform, forming a mature, intelligent, reliable and efficient commercial product.

Based on GTK's in-house rubidium optically pumped magnetometer (OPM) aeromagnetic system, and to achieve deep integration with DJI's industrial UAV platforms, GTK invested substantial development effort in the technologies required by professional aeromagnetic and radiometric surveys, and through DJI's PSDK and MSDK interfaces has implemented:

  1. Fast, intelligent, high-precision terrain-following flight planning technology that meets aeromagnetic survey design requirements;

  2. Automated UAV flight data acquisition and magnetic compensation algorithms that remove the aircraft's own magnetic interference;

  3. Remote status monitoring and data transmission technology for airborne geophysical systems;

  4. Integrated acquisition of UAV platform attitude and motion data together with airborne geophysical data.

For its M400-based low-altitude multirotor UAV airborne geophysical system, GTK has developed a dedicated data processing software package that integrates the full data workflow: terrain-following flight planning, magnetic compensation coefficient calculation, real-time data viewing, data cleaning and pre-processing, diurnal correction, a one-click standard workflow (gridding to mapping, survey-point profiles, automatic line segmentation, IGRF normal-field correction, grid colour-fill, batch spike removal on profiles, tie-line levelling), anomaly grid and inversion interpretation, and one-click AI report generation.

Developing mature commercial low-altitude multirotor UAV airborne geophysical systems spans multiple disciplines and requires close collaboration between instrument developers and UAV platform providers. During development, DJI staff held multiple in-depth discussions with GTK's technical team to fully understand the characteristics and requirements of the airborne geophysical industry. DJI M300 RTK, M350 RTK and M400 series aircraft are now widely used in low-altitude UAV aeromagnetic systems, and GTK has provided equipment and UAV airborne geophysical survey services to projects in dozens of countries on five continents. As a DJI ecosystem partner, GTK will continue to serve geological prospecting, emergency search and rescue, shallow magnetic detection, engineering geophysics and scientific research, and will keep striving to bring Chinese-made innovative UAV airborne geophysical systems to the world.
