The survey covers an area of more than 20 square kilometers. Traditional ground geophysical exploration requires substantial manpower and material resources while offering low operational efficiency. Furthermore, the high-altitude low-pressure environment, sudden extreme weather, and turbulent high-altitude air currents introduce great uncertainties to every UAV data acquisition mission, significantly increasing the difficulty and risks of field survey operations.
During fieldwork, the team was hit by an unexpected severe hailstorm, which caused a sharp drop in on-site temperature. Immediately after the hailstorm subsided, the team resumed operations without delay. The aeromagnetic survey system maintained stable flight performance under frigid high-altitude conditions and efficiently completed full data acquisition tasks.
Thanks to efficient on-site coordination, reliable equipment performance and professional technical competence, the GTK team achieved full-coverage aeromagnetic data acquisition across the 20-square-kilometer survey area in merely three days.
The retrieved data presents distinct magnetic field anomalies and well-defined gradient variations, fully meeting the project’s quality requirements. Against such harsh extreme conditions, GTK delivered outstanding survey results with high precision and high efficiency.
GTK proves its strength through trials and validates its professionalism through reliable deliverables.
